CCTV Video Balun
The function of the CCTV Video Balun is to replace the traditional 75-ohm coaxial cable with Cat 5 unshielded twisted pair ( UTP ) cable in the CCTV and surveillance environment provide a solution for high quality and long distance transmission.
UTP cable is significantly less expensive than coaxial cable. The cost per foot of UTP can be up to 70% less than that of coaxial cable.
CCTV Video Baluns should be used in pairs with any video equipment, especially suitable for Camera to DVR, DVR to CCTV Monitor, Cameras to Video switch and Camera to multiplexer.
